For the 2023-24 school year I am at Dunne Memorial Academy on Monday and Wednesday, St. Catherine's Academy on Tuesday and Thursday, and Stella Maris Academy on Friday. However, you can always send me a message, especially if you feel that the matter is urgent.

ACADEMIC ENHANCEMENT
TUTORING FOR TUITION 2022 - 2023
Note to Parents & Guardians:
The Tutoring for Tuition program provides Level I, II and III students with the opportunity to obtain a post-secondary tuition voucher by providing tutoring services to students from K-12 in all areas. Parents/guardians, who feel this service would be beneficial, are asked to submit their child’s name for tutoring assistance to their homeroom teacher or Mr. Myers (Guidance Counsellor). Tutoring services are available at the school from 2:45 – 3:45 Monday through Thursday, and at lunchtime on certain days (check with guidance office).
Note to Tutors & Learners:
Please try to make the best of this opportunity to learn by being available to work with one another during the week. Those who have signed up to be tutored should make every effort to be available; likewise tutors have an equal obligation to be available to the learner. It works best when both parties consistently communicate and co-operate. Tutors are reminded to pass in Learning Journals (signed by both the Tutor and Learner) and Time Sheets at the end of each month. If you have any questions or concerns, check with Mr. Myers.

Online Tutoring - we offer a free online tutoring service to all students in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador using a virtual classroom. A post-secondary tutor chosen for their expertise in the particular subject area occupies each virtual classroom. Each tutor will be available approximately 5-6 hours per week. Learning Resources – contains course content, interactive videos and reviews of public and final exams and course reviews for writing final or supplementary exams.

Guidance - contains tools and information to help you throughout High School. Here you can browse resources on topics including Post Secondary, Study Tips, Scholarships, Student Wellness and more.
